• I am having trouble logging into my dashboard. I usually have the WordPress Attack Protection where you need to type the username and solve the math. It pops up in a box usually but now the box is gone and there is a blue background only. How can I solve this problem? It works on my main website but not on this one.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • If the issue is caused by this security plugin, you can try to temporarily disable the plugin.

Since you are not able to login to your dashboard, you can disable the plugin through FTP. Simply login to your site via FTP, navigate to the plugins directory (/wp-content/plugins) and rename the plugin, for example from “plugin_name” to “plugin_name.disabled” and then try to login to your dashboard again. If the issue remains, you can continue disabling your plugins, one by one, until you find the one causing this problem.

You may also want to make a full backup of your site before doing any of this.

The plugin’s folder is /wp-content/plugins/wp-limit-login-attempts/ and there’s some JavaScript/jQuery conflict that’s causing that.

Thanks, I will try it and let you know if it worked.
