I just launched a website for a client that uses WordPress at its core, but acts like a simple CMS. Check it out:

Very good looking blog, one of the most professional looking blog i have seen in a long time. A great logo, very much brandable. apart from that the picture on the top and the way you have added the text looks very inspiring. also, the backquote at the top, right side, looks very good.

i liked the social media icons too, one of the better looking web2.0 style icons, have you custom made it?

just one suggestion, why are you using the yellow background for the other pages? the black on the homepage looked better.

@weddingcakes - Thanks for the input! To answer your questions:

The social media icons I found on iconspedia.com as part of the "High Detail Social Icons" set. I did not modify them (other than sizing them to fit my needs).

I agree that the black looks better, however the yellow was chosen to fit with the colors being used by the client for their campaign. It also serves to set the homepage apart from the other pages.
