    Hi Folks,

I am new to WordPress and have just bolted on a WP subdomain to my existing website. What I would like to know is, is it possible to make the entire WP section a paid membership site using aMember?

Is there anything I should particularly know about before I start?

Many thanks for any help and have a great day!

    Nick

  • There are WordPress plugins that you could use to do this, like WP e-Commerce with the Members Only module.

Thanks jleuze, most helpful but I was hoping to use aMember in particular …

    On aMember’s homepage, it says:

aMember Pro also supports integration plugins to link users database with third-party scripts, for example vBulletin, Joomla, WordPress

Apparently, aMember has integration plugins to get it to work with third-party applications such as WordPress.

I would recommend taking advantage of aMember’s support services. You have paid a pretty penny for their software, I am sure they would be more than happy to assist you 🙂

If WP doesn’t work out for you, check out Wild Apricot.

It’s a complete membership management application with PayPal integration for donations, dues, etc.

The blog features are kind of weak compared to WP but overall it’s not too bad IMO.
