    Hi, The url for my primary blog shown in the dashboard points to a folder that no longer exists. WordPress was originally installed in its own wp folder within the root folder. I removed this original installation and re installed directly to the root folder. Since then everything has been running fine, until I tried to activate Jetpack. I think that the mismatch of site url and the url held on record at may be causing the failed activation, but I’m unable to figure out how to update the url held at I’m a complete novice on a mistake-fueled learning curve, and this is almost certainly a problem of my own making. All help is very gratefully received

    Do you receive a specific error message when trying to connect Jetpack to your account?

    If so, could you let me know what that error message is?


    Thanks for your quick response. It seems that I was getting a bit confused with the super admin and site admin roles. It occurred to me today that jetpack should probably be activated from within site admin, and not super-admin. Anyway, it’s up and running now. Thanks again for taking the time to reply. I’ll mark the topic resolved.
