  • Has anyone heard of BuyItSellIt, an online store builder software? Is it compatible with WordPress? Can I link it to my blog?

If I’m not able to do so, where can I find out which web based store builder programs are compatible with WordPress? I want to monetize my WordPress blog.

    Cheers,
    Tashina

  • Don’t think that will work without serious integration
I’ve installed this plugin for several folks – it integrates with your theme and creates the necessary pages for the store, cart, etc. – easy config from the admin

Take a look at the PHPurchase WordPress Ecommerce Plugin. It is very easy to use and let’s you sell things (digital or physical products) using pretty much any WordPress theme. You just place Add To Cart buttons on any page you want and there is a shopping cart widget for the sidebar. It connects with PayPal or any payment gateway that implements the Authorize.net API. You can also run your own affiliate program using the WordPress Affiliate Platform. This is a great way to market your products – especially digital products.
