    Hi there,

I have recently updated to the latest WordPress issue but am now experiencing problems with Safari when trying to add posts and perform basic tasks through the admin section.

    I currently use Safari 13.1.2

I look forward to you reply.

    Regards

Please explain. What sorts of problems?

    Hi Steven,

Thanks for getting back to me.

The main issues I can see are when I try an add a post I get a strange looking screen where I cannot access or create new blocks and all the categories, featured images and tags that are usually located to the right are all the way at the bottom of the screen and stretched all the way across. I have screen shots, but am not sure how to include them here. Perhaps I can email you?

Also, I cannot manage any of the widgets. For instance changing images or adding text.

I hope this helps and I look forward to your reply.

    Regards

Please try installing https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/ to see if that fixes the issue.

For more information on what this is all about, see https://wptavern.com/major-jquery-changes-on-the-way-for-wordpress-5-5-and-beyond

If the plugin helps, please contact the developers of the plugins or themes noted in its admin messages.

    Hi Steven,

Thanks so much. It seems to work. The posts are showing up as normal and I can access and make changes to the widgets.

I did however notice that one has to clear all browsing history before the plugin will take effect.

I will carry on testing and let the developers know.

    Thanks once again, really appreciated.

    Regards
