# WordPress and PHP Versions

 * Just a quick question.
 * Our host has recently moved us to a server with newer versions of PHP and MySQL.
   New version of PHP is 5.2.17, I seen that we need 5.2.4 to run the latest version
   of WordPress, so looks like that won’t work. I had a quick look and seen that
   we can upgrade to WordPress version 3.1.
 * Anyone know if we can run a newer version of WordPress?

 * PHP 5.2.17 is later than 5.2.4, so you should be fine with regards to PHP.

 * You need at _least_ PHP 5.2.4. The 5.2.17 is later so you should be fine with
   the current 3.5.1 version of WordPress.
