    Hello everyone,

I am trying to integrate Oxwall on my WP site and I was wondering how could I split my index page of WordPress to show the header from my WP install, and the rest of page would come from the Oxwall installation.
I was thinking about frames but I’ve heard it’s not a good idea.
Please see the image attached to fully understand what I mean.

Frames are deprecated. You might be thinking of iframes. Not deprecated, not a perfect solution, but still doable.

Ok, lets assume I will do this using frames, but is there any simple way to write a cookie from wordpress to use it to login to Oxwall?

Ideally I am thinking of iframe’ing login form from oxwall, and in WP doing some kind of conditional like

    if userowxwall logged in=true
log in wordpress user with same login and password.

Guys, I am marking this topic as resolved, I have decided to ditch oxwall, and to stay with wordpress and buddypress. It integrates way better than oxwall and you can get same if not better results. Also it will be much easier to integrate it with classipress.

I am very intrigued by this possibility. There was also a discussion on oxwall about this here. http://www.oxwall.org/forum/topic/1435?page=1#post-77490

Zlotarybka, did you really end up ditching the idea?
