WordPress and Internet Explorer

  • Good morning,

Im new to wordpress and having a few issues.

The website Im working on http://www.blackdownarchives.org.uk operates fine when im editing it on my work PC which is windows based and I use internet explorer. When im at home I run a Macbook Pro and I have used Safari, Firefox, Opera and Google Chrome however I can not add or insert a picture to the post. It also plays up when im moving the menu around as it just highlights the rectangles rather than moves them up or down.

Has any one else had an issue like this before? It seems strange, I can only imagine perhaps its something to do with internet settings perhaps?

    Thanks

    Andrew

  • wordpress uses a decent amount of javascript, if your version is corrupted, disabled, or missing it will have problems.

do you have any admin themes installed? what plugins?

I done a system update this morning and it appears to the be latest version and working fine.

The plugins that are active are BM Custom Login / Contact Form 7/ Genesis Simple Edits / Genesis Simple Hooks / Login Logo / No Right Click Images Plugin / Subscribe Me.

I have deactivated all of these and it didn’t make any difference.

I dont believe we have any admin themes installed. it all looks standard along with another wordpress site Im working on.
