WordPress and CSV files

  • Hi,

I want to use some PHP-Code in my Templates. I want to create one page, which converts the data of a csv-file into a HTML-table.

The script seems okay, it works on my local-non-wordpress installation. Basically the php-function “find()” reads the “file.csv”, converts the array into a string, built some tokens which will be placed in html-table tags.

Now I do not know, where to place the CSV File under my wordpress webroot directory: the file should be readable and writeable by php on the server and noone should be able to view the file in his browser.

What is your recommondation where to place the file, which chmod and what path must be in the template file?

    Thanks in advance
