# WordPress & Google Maps

 * Hi,
 * I have troubles including Google Maps in my Posts. When I simply CopyPaste the
   iFrame-code in the html-source of a posts an hit update page right after that
   the map will be displayed, everything works like a charm. But as soon as I switch
   to the visual (WYSIGYG) version of the editor, the iFrame code just dissappears.
   I found a [tutorial on wordpress.com](http://support.wordpress.com/google-maps/)
   how to put Google Maps in a post, but that just does not work.
 * So here are my assumptions/questions: Does wordpress’ editor delete all iframe-
   sourcecode by default (and this is not an error)? And does wordpress**.com** 
   use a plugin for their way of googlemaps integration?
 * If so – how can I use Google Maps in my post, or what plugin does wordpress.com
   use / would you recommend me?

 * Yes, the visual editor mess up the ifram code, normally.
 * You should use a plugin for that. Try: [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-maps-advanced/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-maps-advanced/)

 * by default, using Javascript or Iframe is not allowed in posts (as per my knowledge).
   So you can use it in your perticular pages (like single.php or page.php)
 * As mentioned above, you can use a plugin for that
