# WordPress Admin Login Page Redirect Loop

 * Hi there –
 * I’m having trouble with an endless redirect loop when I try to access my wordpress
   admin login. I *was* initially having problems with a redirect loop on the entire
   site, but I got that resolved. I don’t know why the loop started in the first
   place. However, the admin login page is still looping. My .htaccess file seems
   fine and I disabled all my plugins – still getting the loop.
 * If I navigate to /wp-login.php and log in, my browser tells me the page does 
   not exist. Any pointers?

   you can login.

 * Right, I *can* access the login page via /wp-login.php — but after entering my
   information, the redirect loop occurs. The redirect loop occurs immediately via/
   wp-admin

 * Interesting! I began the steps of your fix, but noticed I do not have a wp-admin
   folder in my wordpress directory. I do have wp-content and wp-includes…is this
   telling? Perhaps the wp-admin folder got lost in a move…

 * I don’t know where it could have gotten moved to – but I just uploaded a fresh
   wp-admin folder and it works!! Thank you so much for pointing me in the right
   direction!

   that plugin using FTP – see:

 * If you don’t know how to set up FTP for your site, ask your hosting company –
   then find the plugins folder and delete that one:
 *     ```
       wordpress
          wp-content
              plugins
                 twitter-stream
       ```
