[Resolved] WordPress Admin Login?

  • Upon the initial scan, the overlay popup screen comes up with a preview of your homepage before scanning.

Within the preview, I see the wordpress dashboard login top navigation loaded in the preview.

Wouldn’t a logged in user cause confusion in the results, being that normal site visitors are not logged in and don’t have the WP admin widgets appearing/loading when they visit a page?

    Hello harvmob,

It depends on what you’re looking for.

If your site is slow when you are using it (as an admin) then you want to profile it when you’re logged in.

if you’re primarily concerned with times for your visitors, then you should use a caching plugin, or a reverse proxy like varnish / nginx.

If you’re primarily concerned with times for your visitors, but you can’t use caching because your site uses sessions (e.g. it’s a shop) then you can use P3’s “manual scan” mode (see the help page) with an incognito window.

    I hope this helps.
