# WordPress admin is not loading?

 * So I’m managing a website for my friend, and haven’t been on for a while.
 * He asked me to add some new stuff to it.
 * The backend does not load anymore.
 * It just gives me a blank page whenever I put the url.

 * How can I fix this and what is the issue?

 * Well, actually the frontend doesn’t work either, nor other pages.
 * Can you backup the site (files + database) and reinstall wordpress?

 * I seem to have solved the issue by updating the PHP config version.
