# WordPress 5 – Gallery blocks prob

 * Hi folks
 * I’m facing a problem with the GALLERY BLOCKS, both with the wp standard one, 
   both with the Rich Tabor ‘Block Gallery – Photo Gallery Gutenberg Blocks’.
 * Whenever I open the GALLERY (click on a certain image in the gallery itself)
   
   1) I have no chance to see next or previous images. Simply I don’t find any button
   to move across the gallery itself 2) On the other way round, I cannot exit the
   gallery as well. Only possibility is to use the ‘back browser’ button.
 * These problems happen with both plugins, and you can see the galleries here:
   
   a) R Tabor’s plugin: /blackshivers-orange-road/ b) standard wp plugin: /2019/
   02/25/schnauzer-in-pizzeria/ (gallery at bottom page)
 * Anyone got same situations ? Could you please help me in identifying if I’m wrong
   anywhere ?

 * Your gallery images are just directly linking to the image file and they’re opening
   in the browser. This is completely standard behaviour, and just how image links
   work on the web.
 * What you’re probably thinking of is how the galleries on many sites will open
   the image in a pop-up window, often with extra functionality such as next and
   previous buttons. This is not standard WordPress functionality (let alone web
   browser functionality), so it’s something you’re going to need a plugin for.
 * If you search the plugin directory for [“lightbox”](https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/lightbox/),
   you’ll find several options.
