# WordPress 5.8 current_user issue without https

 * Hi,
 * I would like to raise an issue in version 5.8 when ever you are logged in but
   not on https it throws a 0 $current_id but as soon as you switch to https error
   goes away … any hint please ?

 * The error indicates that the page or entry doesn’t exist in the database when
   u access it through http. You can use [this](https://wordpress.org/plugins/really-simple-ssl/)
   plugin to help resolve that issue
