WordPress 5.0.3 Issues with Open Graph and FaceBook

    Since updating to WordPress 5.0.3, FaceBook no longer pulls the correct thumbnail from the URL shared. I’ve tried everything, including installing Yoast over a different SEO plugin I was using and updating the settings. Between FaceBook Debugger and all kinds of Open Graph troubleshooting, I cannot get FB to pull the featured image from any post.

    I should add that I deleted my FB posts as an example, but my friend – who has years worth of posts on her business FB page – is now missing most of her thumbnails. All of this happened right after she updated to WP 5.0.3. The sporadic image here and there is showing, but most of them are just not there anymore.

    Apparently, it’s a FB issue. OG is working in other places. Following this as me and dev friends noticed that this is rampant tonight.

    FaceBook fixed it. Woke up this morning and re-tested some links and all is good.
