 * My site has automatically updated to WordPress 4.3 and the site stopped working.
That could have been a coincidence – I’m not sure when the site failed, but probably
within the last few days. I’ve gone into the database and changed the theme to
twentytwelve (the only other theme I had installed on the site) and the site’s
up again, so my problem is no longer immediate, but it would be nice to change
   it back to Virtue.
    The site is [http://www.waipori.nz](http://www.waipori.nz)
I’m sorry I can’t paste in the error message – I didn’t think to copy it before
I fixed it, but it was an error on line 10 of the theme’s functions.php file.
Is this a known problem? Is there a fix? Could it be something other than a WordPress
   4.3 conflict? Many thanks Vicki

 * I’m kicking myself – sorry folks! I’ve just seen the posts from a day ago from
others having the same issue. I’ll remove the theme and reinstall to see if that’s
solves the problem…. and then I’ll report back.

 * All good. Deleted the Virtue theme then installed it again and activated and
it’s all fine now. However, I’ve made no changes to the site for a few weeks,
so it was an automatic upgrade of something else that triggered the problem.

 * One other thing … if this happens to you and [like me] you lose access to your
admin dashboard so can’t change the theme, you could follow the instructions
on the following site to change the theme via the database (assuming you have
another theme installed – a reason why I always have an unused and common theme
   sitting in the wings).
