is qTranslate Plus different from qTranslate-x? I’m confuse now.
In any case, I can’t find the plugin in the WordPress plugin library anymore.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/qtranslate-x/
in my plugin directory, I have this
screenshot: http://snag.gy/ASipG.jpg
It says
qTranslate Plus
An unOfficial modified version of qTranslate (created by Qian Qin) created to be compatible with WordPress 3.9 or highter.
Version 2.7.2 | By Papa Salvatore Mirko (Originally created by Qian Qin) | Visit plugin site
I have the same problem. Trying to solve it myself at this point.
I changed to qtranslate-x. You just need to change your shortcode a bit and it will work just the same.
Not sure why both disappeared from the WP plugin library but you can download it here:
qtranslate-x
Does someone knows a fix for this problem?
I use qtranslate+. Changing to qtranslate x doenst work because all functionames etc are slightly different. (starting ppq_)
Creating articles in html takes way to much time so this is a big problem for us.
Otherwise we have to downgrade to 4.2 which I do not prfer for security reasons.

have you gone through this? Migration from other multilingual plugins: step-by-step instructions
Tried this: Settings – Languages – Integration – Compatibility Functions?
I have the same problem!
Already tried this solution here: http://www.webdevdoor.com/wordpress/fixing-qtranslate-problems-wordpress/ but did not work for me!
Any suggestions on how to fix that? I really need my visual editor!

The link in your post has this in the comments:
Although I haven’t tried qtranslate-x, this solution is really only for anyone still using q-translate and probably won’t work for qtranslate-x.
The below is taken from the plugin page
At this point, qTranslate-X has many new features and hardly resembles its ancestor.

No I haven´t gone through your link yet because I do not want to change from qTranslate to qTranslate-X only if this is the last option.
I do not find the option Tried this: Settings – Languages – Integration – Compatibility Functions? because my admin panel is in German and I can´t find under “Integration” a point called Compatibility Functions. May you take a screenshot so that I can see what this should look like?
Thanks,
Chris
