I’m running a giveaway off this site…it only has a few hours left open. And it has crashed.

So, the giveaway URL that has crashed is: http://giveaways.johnwmefford.com/giveaways/tap-that-launch/

Yet, if I go to the root home page, it’s working (but I never use it): http://giveaways.johnwmefford.com/

Worse yet, my WordPress Dashboard has also crashed: http://giveaways.johnwmefford.com/wp-admin/

I have been using the KingSumo plug-in for my giveaway without any issues. I received the auto-update of moving to WordPress 4.2.1 on April 27, but everything was working up until today (not sure when it went down exactly).

Here is the error message I get on my Dashboard and the giveaway URL:

Warning: require(/home2/ab9344/public_html/giveaways/wp-content/themes/twentyfifteen/inc/custom-header.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home2/ab9344/public_html/giveaways/wp-content/themes/twentyfifteen/functions.php on line 341

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home2/ab9344/public_html/giveaways/wp-content/themes/twentyfifteen/inc/custom-header.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/php54/lib/php’) in /home2/ab9344/public_html/giveaways/wp-content/themes/twentyfifteen/functions.php on line 341

Can someone help me trouble-shoot this issue? I have no clue what happened and my giveaway ends in less than 2 hours.

    Many thanks,
    John

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

it’s resolved. I had to pay someone $113 to fix it. Not fun. But I appreciate you reaching out with suggestions. Thanks.
