WordPress 4.1: all in one events calendar (ai1ec) 2.1.9 install crashed my site

Hello,

I cannot install ai1ec on my wordpress 4.1 site because after the install, my site is not reachable but freezed and crashed. I have to rename the ai1ec plugins folder, to get my site up and running again.

Any suggestions to get this plugin running? Does anybody know an other calendar plugin which imports events from a Facebook fanpage?

Ps: I had this problem also with earlier versions of this plugin. A few times I managed it to run, but on almost every update I have the trouble….
