# WordPress 404 Page for /wp-admin/

 * I activated the Login Protection and changed my URL. Now when a visitor goes 
   to ../wp-admin/ it redirects to the server 4040 and not my WordPress 404 Page.
   I need to redirect to the 404 WordPress page when trying to access the WordPress
   Admin directly.
 * For example visit [http://www.workforcesoftware.com/foo](http://www.workforcesoftware.com/foo)
   you will be presented with a WP 404.

 * When you change the login URL, the error page will be a hard 404 error, and not
   a WordPress-derived 404. This is deliberate, and we have no plans to change this.
 * Your registered users should know what the new login URL is if you’ve changed
   it. If they use this URL to login, then they wont see 404 errors.
