 * Hi I have my WordPress installed in a directory called ‘blog’ eg: mywebsite.com/
   blog
 * When a 404 is encountered on the root eg mywebsite.com/nothing/ it gives the
   WordPress 404 page
 * Is there a way of disassociating wordpress from the root. I want to allow WordPress’s
   404 page to only affect the directory ‘blog’
 * Thanks
 * ps. I should mention that originally I had the blog installed at the root, but
   moved it to blog directory

 * I think you should change the URL in general settings (Admin Page) and change
   some stuff in your database too.
