WordPress 4.8 Conflict

    When I upgraded my WordPress version to 4.8 the entire site crashed and there was an error message related to subscribe to comments reloaded. Unfortunately I forgot to take a screenshot of the error before disabling the plugin.

    I tested the code on that version with no issues.

    What version of StCR are you running ?

    Thank you for the quick response

    I was running version 170428

    I just made a duplicate of the site and tried updating the version of StCR first and got the same error message
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function stcr\is_plugin_active() in /home/practifo/public_html/dev/wp-content/plugins/subscribe-to-comments-reloaded/utils/stcr_upgrade.php on line 243

    The version 170428 contains a critical bug which I have fixed on the new version, the version 170607.

    Please run your tests using the new version. If your problem persist please let me know.

    Did you see that I wrote that I tried updating the plugin first? Updating the plugin caused the site to crash too
