WordPress 3.7.1 Password Conflict

Customer has a site running BWPS 3.5.6 and WP 3.7.1 . While adding a new user at editor level the system shows a strong password but on submit says “ERROR: You MUST Choose a password that rates at least Strong on the meter. Your setting have NOT been saved.” The password used was “ZMw2lo2lh”

By unchecking “Enable strong password enforcement” in BWPS the issue goes away.
