WordPress 3.7 Changes Not Showing Up

    I developed a custom WordPress theme and I noticed that after I updated to WordPress 3.7+, my theme files take a while to display changes made to the HTML/PHP.

    Prior to WordPress 3.7, the changes would show immediately. However, now it takes a couple of minutes before my changes are displayed with WordPress 3.7+. I tried refreshing my browser and emptying browser cache with no luck.

    The only solution that seems to work so far is restarting MAMP. I’m developing locally with MAMP on Mac OS X 10.9 using a fresh WordPress install and no plug-ins.

    Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    I isolated the issue to MAMP. I found the solution on StackOverflow by commenting out Opache.
