# WordPress 3.6 Upgrade

    Just upgraded to 3.6 as per instructed, everything seemed to work ok but 
   when I went back to it 30 minutes later it wouldn’t let me into admin, tried 
   to reload and now can’t log in at all, just times out.
 * Anyone else with this problem

 * Not so good. Can you provide a link and do you get any error messages or maybe
   just a blank web page when you attempt to re-login?

    Not so good, it is down again, do you know if Hostgator has a problem with
   3.6

 * Hostgator shouldn’t be having problems with this version of WordPress. Try:
    –
   switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside
   wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients)
   or whatever file management application your host provides.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

 * Won’t even let me in via ftp now so don’t know what is wrong but got to go out
   now so will have to deal with it when I get back this evening.
 * Very strange though that it should be ok one minute and not the next which is
   why I thought it might be Hostgator

 * For info, can’t even log into Hostgator, even my WordPress site which I haven’t
   yet upgraded to 3.6 is down so must be Hostgator!
 * Anyone else got this problem
