[resolved] WordPress 3.5 Upgrade Multisite Issues (35 posts)

christokid - The .htaccess goes in the same folder as wp-config.php

THIS is the line you're probably missing:
    RewriteRule ^files/(.+) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$1 [L]

But at this point, you have a totally separate issue, so you need to make your own post so ahuggup86's posts don't get lost ;) (Go into your main .htaccess, check for that value, if it's NOT there, either add it or make a whole new topic for yourself with the full content of your .htaccess file so we can look at it and help you out - NEVER edit any of the core WP files, please, it's a headache).

Just wanted to thank you Ipstenu that fixed my problem

I have had 2 issues since upgrading to 3.5.
    1. I can't see the images in my image uploader and gallery
    2. The scheduled posts don't schedule any longer.
    My site is http://www.janiscox.com
    Any help would be appreciated.
You can't really see the problem in my site as it occurs in my editing.

PS I put in a pluggin to schedule missed posts that seems to work most times. But I want to know what went wrong. I did disable all pluggins and that doesn't affect these problems.

thanks for assisting guys, however am not sure if this was resolved but was it resolved through upgrade or stated that in the new wordpress upgrade multisites now moved images from uploads to blog.idr/# because thats what happen on my upgrade. a hope this was resolved for others.

  4. Yeah... no.

The upgrade does not move anything.

A brand new install, starting with 3.5, uses /uploads/ but that's not the same as an upgrade. Something else really weird is going on for your install :/
