# WordPress 2.9 embeds

 * I see that WordPress 2.9 brings easier embeds for video ([http://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds](http://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds)),
   but what about audio. We currently use WordPress MU to manage Podcasting for 
   our instructors. At the moment the instructor has to use a plug in to embed their
   Podcast file in a post. The problems are…
 * 1. There are way too many steps to add a Podcast to a post. For someone with 
   a tech background would have no problem, but our instructors would like to do
   this in just a few steps instead of 10.
 * 2. We are using WordPress MU and when we have a new instructor sign-up for a 
   Podcast blog the plugin never activates for their own plug-in. We tried placing
   them in the mu plug-ins and activating site wide and no luck. We even tried using
   the functions.php to add the Podcast plug-in for new Podcast blogs.
 * So, I was wondering if there is going to be an easier was to post a new Podcast
   in WordPress 3.0?
 * Something like this:
    Upload your audio Podcast Then, copy the link Paste in 
   a post
 * After that the link (like the video embeds in 2.9) will show a player and give
   the user the option to download.
 * Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
