 * Yesterday i updated my wordpress blog from version 2.1 to 2.2, but after that
   the atom feed shows up blank.
 * I checked feed validator and it gives me this error:
 * `line 60, column 15: uri must be a valid IRI: http://`
 * and
 * `line 67, column 52: XML parsing error: <unknown>:67:52: not well-formed (invalid
   token)`
 * URL to my atom-feed: [http://www.vmx.nl/?feed=atom](http://www.vmx.nl/?feed=atom)

   URL to my blog: [http://www.vmx.nl/](http://www.vmx.nl/) Wordpress version: 2.2
 * Thanks for the support

 * First Error: On your user info page, you must have valid information under “Website:”
   to avoid the first error.
 * Second Error: Appears to be a bug in WordPress. I’ll put in a ticket.
    Edit:
   Ticket in. You can follow progress on it here: [http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/4307](http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/4307)

 * Ok, the first error i understand, but not everyone has a website ofcourse. So
   that error is unavoidable? I don’t think that error is causing the atom-feed
   to work right?
 * Thanks for the ticket, i will wait for the answer 🙂 Thanks for now 🙂

 * Ummm… If you’re writing posts on a blog, then you do have a website. The blog
   itself.
 * Anyway, that error is avoidable. Put a valid website URL in for the user. It’s
   not an optional field to begin with. Even if it’s just the blog address itself.
 * The second problem is what’s actually breaking the blog. It’s because your category
   name has a single quote in it. That was not anticipated.

 * The patch for this problem is now available here: [http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/4307](http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/4307)
 * Thanks for the support Otto. And Rob1n for fixing it 🙂

 * ok, followed the link above, have no clue what to do with the info. Tryed to
   edit the feed.php file, all I get is parse syntax error on line 162, or the problem
   is still there. That is the blank page on rss feeds. Please help!
