I run a pretty decently sized webblog that can go from 7k to 60k uniques daily depending on the day.
I’ve noticed on the higher trafficed days that I’m forced to restart MYSQL up to 6 of 7 times within a 24 hour period because certain MYSQL process start hanging the site in a perpetual state of loading.
Is there anyway I can optimize the code or the mysql processes so that this doesn’t continue to happen? Or is there a way to switch from dynamic to static content?
Currently I’m only running the Paginate plugin, so I don’t think it’s any outside code disrupting my site and I’m sure it’s WordPress because when mysql hangs other pages will, just not wordpress.
