• Hi Guys,

I just wanted to inform you of my newest plugin – Wordgento.

It allows you to seamlessly bring the default blocks from your Magento installation, into your WordPress theme. This includes the top nav, cart, top links, wishlist, etc.

Let me know your thoughts and how it can be improved for the next release!

    James

  • Hello James,

I’d like to compete with your plugin. Your plugin seems to require the user to get into some WordPress code, which probably not all users would see themselfs doing.

This plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/magento/ does about the same, but has a far easier installation. It allows you to show/advertise all Magento products in your WordPress blog as widget or piece of shortcode in a page or post.

    🙂

    Hi Stefan,

Nice Job! Really like the Soap Integration.

I’ve released a newer version of mine, still based on Wordgento, here.

This version does far more than Wordgento. I’m still in dire need of cleaning up the code and adding shortcodes, but this version allows you to add your own custom blocks, magento products, etc.

the plugin is more for theme developers who want to make their Magento and WordPress website match. Where as I think yours is more for users who have a Magento and WordPress site already built, and want to display products in their WordPress site.

    Hello
I configured the plugin to my wordpress and get this result:
“Unable to connect to host.” Please help me …
    thank you

“Unable to connect to host.” Please help me …
    thank you

Same goes for me for the Magento.

    Hi Guys,

Which version of the plugin are you using? If possible can you start your own threads so other can benefit from any resolutions we find!

    Thanks,
    James

    versions:

    WordPress: 3.3.2
    Magento Plugin: 0.2.1 Beta

Do not know much about programming, can be a server problem? with some PHP package?

    thank you

Ah right, this is not my plugin. you should start a new thread for Stefan
