    wordfence was blocking features like My Profile and private messages, so I uninstalled wordfence and not I cannot edit posts or delete topics.

    can wpforo be uninstalled and reinstalled without losing all the posts on the forum?

    Hi @rokirk,
    wpForo 1.8 updates comes with new wrapper div for forum page. If you have some old wpForo addons, it tries to make them compatible and add the new #wpforo ID to addons CSS files. So this is why wordfence may try to block some features. You can deactivate (not uninstall) and activate wpForo again. Please NEVER USE the “uninstall” button, it removes all forum data. Just use the deactivate button and then activate.

    Well I found the plugin blocking editing and deleting post and topics it was Visitor “Traffic Real Time Statistics” Wordfence was blocking private message and My Profile options. So it was not the removal of Wordfence that was the problem.

    I’ll install Wordfence again after the 1.8 update to see if it’s still blocking.

    Now back to building
