# Wordfence security Update failed

 * Just trying to do a simple update of my plugins today…
 * Clicking on the update link gives me a simple message:
    Update Failed: Plugin
   update failed.
 * Suggestions?

 * Hi guys,
    [@eburden](https://wordpress.org/support/users/eburden/) This is most
   probably due to a temporarily WordPress server-related issue, so please try updating
   the plugin again and it should work fine.
 * @allm Could you please update Wordfence to the latest version released earlier
   today (version 6.1.10)? I believe it should fix this issue.
