Wordfence – New install – Any thing I need to do?

    I am new to Wordfence, and its activated on my site. Do I need to adjust any settings? Or is it ready to go? At what point can I deactivate jetpack? Thank you

    I would advise you to click on the WordFence icon then select “All Options” and go through each one and make sure you select the one that best suits you.
    If you are unsure about a specific option click on the “?” icon next to it to get help and an explanation about what that feature does and the suggested settings etc.

    Regarding dishabling Jetpack do you only use it for security? Jetpack has a lot of other features that can co-exist along with WordFence.

    Eli has given great advice. You’ll want to work through each setting in All Options and choose the ones to work with your site for maximum protection. If you have any questions about any of them feel free to ask.

    Also, regarding Jetpack, it really depends on what features you’re making use of. I would suggest steering clear of similar features to avoid conflicts.
