Wordfence making my http go down after wordpress 4.6 update

    Hello
    since last wordpress update 4.6 my 2 sites had half of http down as seen at host-tracker , even before i did any options set, just after activating the plugin as it comes to everyone. After troubleshooting this,I concluded that it was wordfence that was causing this. I had to deactivate the plugin in both sites. I also asked my hosting service (Godaddy-managed wordpress) to help me on this and to assure that the problem wasn’t with my server. After some procedures they told me that the server was acting fine and the issue is with the plugin wordfence. Can you help me on this? I love Wordfence, it is the best security plugin available and it is very frustrating not to have it on my sites.

    Hi fatimajesus,

    Is your site actually going down or just showing as down by host-tracker? What was Godaddy’s reasoning in thinking it was Wordfence?
