If I have Wordfence activate everyone that goes to this website get this message:

Your access to this site has been limited
Your access to this service has been temporarily limited. Please try again in a few minutes. (HTTP response code 503)
    Reason: Advanced blocking in effect.

I have disabled practically all the plugins and turned Wordfence back on the I get blocked once again.

I have added my ip address to the white-list.

I have tried using private browsing sessions.

I get blocked even trying to log into the dashboard.

My hosting partner is Bluehost They report no service issues on my server.

For the time=being I have deactivate Wordfence so visitors can access the website.

There doesn’t seem to be anything I could find in the knowledge-base to help me.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

To access the site, I did rename the Wordfence files to disable the plugin, via the cPanel file manager.

After that I deleted and installed the plugin, which did not solve my problem.

I went into the Firewall Settings removed a recent IP address string that I added.

While my problem is no longer present, removing the IP address string should not have impacted my access as the IP address string was not even close to my IP address.

I continue to monitor the site to make sure this does not reoccur.

to remove this plugin and erase all data from it –

First I log in my hosting cpanel.
    go to – File Manager-public.html-wp-content-plugins-wordfence.
    Remove this wordfance folder.

    Hi @onqmarketing,

Could you please confirm which value is selected for the “How does Wordfence get IPs” parameter?

Wordfence is a crap plugin, they think they have the rights to block everyone, never ever use Wordfence. I see the same error on a couple of sites. Pretty bad

I have received the temporarily locked out screen as follows:

    You are temporarily locked out

You have been temporarily locked out of this system. This means that you will not be able to log in for a while.

Return to the site home page

If you are a WordPress user with administrative privileges on this site please enter your email in the box below and click “Send”. You will then receive an email that helps you regain access.

I did send the email but did not receive instructions by email. How can I regain access and most importantly is it under the possibility of atack? Please advice/

    Thank you

    Teresa Cuervo
