Even in learning mode wordfence prevents me from uploading media using the wordpress android app. I tried resetting to defaults but that doesn’t seem to help.
I don’t know what to do here.

Can I get some actual support? Looking around I see that almost every thread related to this gets abandoned by you guys. That’ worthy of being reported to wordpress.org. 2fa and your plugin is a problem for wordpress that interferes with it working as designed. If you’re not going to help us resolve it then remove the feature or the whole plugin from the market.
It’s defective.

My apologies for the delayed response.
Do you happen to have Require 2FA for XML-RPC call authentication set to REQUIRED, or SKIPPED? If it’s set to REQUIRED can you please try setting it to SKIPPED and let me know if it helps? You can find it in Wordfence > Login Security > Settings.

Hi there, it is currently off so I can use the android app but it is set to skipped. Also i have wordfence firewall set to learning.
If I turn 2FA security on the android app stops functioning.

Oh you have me mistaken. I didn’t report it as a faster means to get bored. I reported it because I see there are literally months going by and which you don’t reply to people with the same issue.

Try being professional. If that’s the case send a direct or private message instead of spamming the only thread I’ve managed to get a response in out of four total. It looks petty…
Meanwhile I still have an issue i’m trying to work through and who knows if these people will work it all the way through. But if you want to let wordpress know this plugin has features that break apps they made…that would be nice.
@mykkal It looks like this is working now. I have tested this on 2 sites, with 2FA turned on, and I am able to upload media with the app now. I’m not sure what changed where, but someone fixed something somewhere 🙂 (I hope)
