Wordfence Firewassl

I have wordfence on my site but i can’t get the firewall to work at all i have checked the file permission over and over even tried making all permission readable but still no firewall
i get this error message We were unable to write to ~/wp-content/wflogs/ which the WAF uses for storage. Please update permissions on the parent directory so the web server can write to it. My Host is Ipage and here is a list of my plugins (ignore the shield one i will remove there firewall when i fix yours.
