    Wordfence’s (free) report on live traffic to show spam bots hitting sites in real time does not capture some traffic. One and the same source that continuously changes IP address causing thousands of hits, in just one visit, downloads MB of data.
    Wordfence does not capture this traffic at all. WF sporadically otherwise works normally and once in a while when a bot appears it blocks it, but not this. Any ideas please? Thank you

    Hi @realityman, thanks for getting in touch!

    A lack of blocks doesn’t necessarily mean that Wordfence isn’t working and having “SECURITY ONLY” selected (default on new installations) on this page will log less information than “ALL TRAFFIC”. From the sounds of your issue, these hits may not be specific security events so could be affected by this setting.

    You could temporarily try switching to “ALL TRAFFIC” if you need to spend a period of time checking that everything is working as expected. More database resources are used when this is turned on, so could be changed again after a period of testing.
