WordFence: cURL error 60: SSL: no alternative certificate

Hi @per4mance, thanks for your message regarding the SSL issue you’re seeing.

You may still need to contact your host if the certificate is causing an issue, but I see your point that the SSL test appears fine and the website URL provided is showing as HTTPS correctly in my browser without a certificate error.

Can you send a diagnostic report from the site reporting the cURL error to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

Thanks for your further messages. I’ve reviewed the screenshots and the cURL error is presenting in the WordPress > Settings > General, which is not controlled by Wordfence.

You will definitely need to speak with your host regarding this setting as your Wordfence diagnostic does not present the same cURL errors and passes all checks for connecting to our servers and back to your site for scans and updates.
