Wordfence crashes the WP dashboard
-
Logging in as Admin brings me to an bare outline form of the dashboard menu with all of the dashboard links are lined up on the left side of the screen.
Going into MySQL and deleting all plugins fixes the problem and the dashboard appears normal once again. I then activated the plugins one by one, until I got to Wordfence, and the problem re-occurs upon activating Wordfence.
Deleting Wordfence folder from file manager and dropping the tables in MySQL, with a subsequent fresh install, doesn’t fix the issue. Is anyone else experiencing this conflict as of today with Wordfence?

I recommend reporting the problem at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wordfence so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
Thank you Sir. I just did.
Also figured out the problem in the meanwhile. It is entirely the fault of the proxy settings and internal (unchangeable) firewall settings of the Netgear Router (X6S, Model R7900P). The router was delaying packets. While my hosting company was willing to allow longer delays, that improved but did not fix the issue entirely. Only upon removing the router from the equation did the problem entirely go away.
After spending hours on the phone with various customer service reps. for the ISP and hosting and Negear, resetting the router, disabling NAD, dedicating a static IP address, the only fix was to return the router to the store for a full refund.
Thanks for letting us know!
