  • I began receiving this error in February:

    [Apr 16 13:10:55:1397668255.989848:1:error] Wordfence can’t get the IP of clients and therefore can’t operate. We received IP: 10.1.5.78, 216.142.48.194. X-Forwarded-For was: 10.1.5.78, 216.142.48.194 REMOTE_ADDR was: 216.82.251.229 Headers that may contain the client IP: HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR => 10.1.5.78, 216.142.48.194 SERVER_ADDR => 50.115.19.181 REMOTE_ADDR => 216.82.251.229

    I saw that this problem was reported before and the report has been closed as resolved. Doesn’t appear to be resolved.
    All software and plugins are up to date.

    I see this message over many days again and again.

    Looks like the plugin has a problem with IPv6 addressing maybe. Have you considered posting this in that plugin’s dedicated sub-forum?
