That is the plugin trying to optimize images asynchronously, you should make an exclusion for those requests so that your images continue to get optimized.

I should also mention that the above is only true if gotfusion.com is your webhost, which I was assuming. Given that 2.9 was just released this morning, it’s highly unlikely to be an actual hack attempt.

    Hi again,

    Yes gotfusion is my server.

I’m confused…have I missed a setting in EWWW or are you saying I need to adjust something in Wordfence?

I am guessing a setting in Wordfence because if I disable the firewall EWWW is back to normal.

But what setting in Wordfence I wonder …. can’t see anything in Options so it must be under the Firewall settings and all I can see is to add a URL.

    Yup, total confusion here 🙁

Yes, in Wordfence, but I’m not sure if you can actually do anything to fix it, so I contacted Wordfence for assistance in fixing the problem. I’ll keep you posted 🙂

Ah, OK. I thought for a second I was going mad.

This will have significant implications for EWWW then. I have WF and EWWW running on all client sites now – and it’s the same on all of them.

Looking forward to the updates on this 🙂 and appreciate the support.

    Thanks Shane.

I’m getting the same error with 3.0.2. I whitelisted that parameter; I assume that will fix the issue.

@tylershuster, please don’t post on an old thread. Please send the exact error message via https://ewww.io/contact-us/ and I’ll see if we can get to the bottom of that. Even if whitelisting works, I’d like to see what exactly is being blocked so we can try to prevent it in the future.
