    Hi

I have an online training website and do not want each member to share his membership to other to login.

Is there any function in Wordfence that can block the same user unable to login twice or more at the same time or IP?

If Wordfence has not this function, please recommend any plugins that work with no problem with Wordfence.

    Thanks,
    Somkiat

Hi @somkiatf, thanks for reaching out.

WordPress by default allows the same username to be concurrently logged in from multiple tabs, browsers and locations. Wordfence itself does not block or alter this ability.

One such plugin that implements single-user sessions (logging out the 1st session when a 2nd session with the same user login occurs) can be found here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/inactive-logout/

Choose to use concurrent logout functionality derived from prevent concurrent logins by Frankie Jarrett.

I have only made this recommendation as a helpful guide for you and is not “endorsed” as such. My criteria was for a plugin under current development (last update 1 month ago), tested to WordPress 5.6 (latest at time of writing), with a high number of installations & 5* reviews. Naturally, please take care to configure the plugin for your requirements and only enable the feature(s) you need where possible.

Wordfence is fully compatible with the latest version of WordPress, so if any script errors arise that affect Wordfence’s functionality or administration area after the installation of any new plugins, you will need to try troubleshooting in their support channels to find the conflicts.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
