    Greetings all. We have a maintenance release for Wordfence today. Thanks for those of you that helped add some really great suggestions! Please update as soon as you are able.

    • Fixed issue with some variations of author=N scans not being caught.
    • Fixed issue with Falcon not writing to .htaccess with WP installed in subdirectory.
    • Fixed width of logo in activity report email.
    • Fixed issue with Live Traffic endpoint in cases where WordPress is installed into a subdirectory.
    • Optimized database query with in unlocking user email routine.
    • Fixed typo in author=N option.
    • Moved firewall logic into ‘wp_loaded’ hook.’

  • Dear Wordfence.

    All previous updates went well. This one gave me such error:

    “Update Failed: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.”

    I didn’t change file permissions recenly. What should I check?
