How to report to WordPress if we encountered a premium/ purchased plugin but not working/lies or fraud? basically a plugin which is a scam.

Customers who bought the WordApp plugin, did not received the premium services advertised. We felt being scammed. We are paying the premium service, but we did not get the advertised/ promised services.

The support is poor, meaning it left us clueless, months without respond/ left without solution or answer and we can’t get our money back/ refund.

Please read the WordApp plugin’s review for all the trouble we faced.. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordapp-mobile-app/

While I do sympathize with your situation, this isn’t the place for this conversation.

That has nothing to do with WordPress.ORG. Please follow up with the author on their own site.

If you like, please leave a review for that plugin based on your experience. You can do that here.

That is where a review of your experience belongs. I’ve moved this topic to Everything Else WordPress as it’s not really a Request and Feedback to WordPress.ORG.

Please avail yourself of the review. My only ask is that you keep it clean and factual.

First, demand a refund via your PAYMENT proxy. Credit cards, PayPal, even Stripe will ALL refund if you lodge valid complaints.

Secondly, while the plugin team does not have any authority to what people do outside WordPress.org, we are aware of the situation and it’s impact on the support forum team. We’ll be contacting the developer, as they’re abusing our resources with their actions. Or rather, their LACK of action.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your recent messages.

WordApp is not at all fraud, I’m very sorry if you have not been able to make the plugin work in the way you like.

I have full refunded your account and if you do need any help in the future, you can contact me directly at support@app-developers.biz.

Once again, I’m very sorry that our plugin didn’t work the way you wanted.

This seems to be the only way to get any response from you…

I am still awaiting my refund. You should really stop giving out that email address for support, unfortunately it seems that the team does not have the ability to respond to emails that are sent.

Moderators, thank you for your the advice.

I’m closing this topic now as this is something that has nothing to do with WordPress.org.

The plugins team will contact the author about this and the author has already replied with contact information.
