Word Links in the text of my blog

Is there any way to remove the hidden links in the text of my blog and protect myself and my blog from their further intrusion? You know the ones I mean. The link is indicated by blue text on one word and when you hover over the word you get a popup add inviting you to proceed to another web site. These things are annoying and tend to make people lose interest in the page, and my pages are peppered with them. Where do the links reside and how can we rid ourselves of them?
