    Hello!

Ever since I installed the new Gutenberg editor i’ve been strugling with problems regarding Yoast SEO. No matter how much content I produce for my website, the readibility is always rated poorly (red). I produce texts with over 300 words and the readibility counts as if if were zero words.

Could please help me solve this problem?

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi,

We would like some more information.

    1. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO, v12.7? If you update, does the issue resolve?

    2. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    3. Are you using a pagebuilder like WPBakery, Elementor, SiteOrigin or Divi etc. to create pages? Or is it only Gutenberg?

    4. If Gutenberg what blocks are you using? Text blocks only or some other kinds?

    5. Can you provide a URL to the page which has the issue?

    Hi @pcosta88,

I’m also experiencing issues with Yoast SEO anlysis recently. I’m using Elementor. I’ve always have. No problems before.

For example here are the issues that Yoast points out on this page: https://romaniaprivatetours.com/bucharest-tours/

Outbound links: No outbound links appear in this page. Add some!

Keyphrase in introduction: Your keyphrase or its synonyms do not appear in the first paragraph. Make sure the topic is clear immediately.

Single title: H1s should only be used as your main title. Find all H1s in your text that aren’t your main title and change them to a lower heading level!

I have 2 outbound links and the keyphrase is in the first paragraph. I only have a H1 title on the page.

Any idea what is causing this?

    Thanks,
    Cezarina

    @cezarina

If you are still experiencing the issue per the forum guidelines, we ask that you please create separate topics for the issues you are experiencing. That way it’s easier to track issues and provide assistance on your specific concerns on your specific site. Plus, you will get your own alerts for the issue rather than someone else’s. You may make a new topic here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wordpress-seo/#new-post. Thanks!
