 * Hello!
 * I am testing AI Forms before implementation and I have noticed something odd.
   I changed the post lengths from their default, so a long post is set at 2,000
   + words. I generated 2 test posts using this form.
 * The first post had a tag at the bottom stating word count was 2,104 words. It
   appeared a little short to me, so I dumped the content into Word and found it
   was actually only 1446 words.
 * I created a second post, but for this post I disabled the Web Search option (
   it was enabled on the first post). Using the exact same prompt and same article
   size, I generated the post. This post concluded at only 608 words.
 * I am using **Xai grok v4.3**, I have plenty of tokens. Using AI Puffer **Version:
   2.4.53**
 * Any thoughts as to what is causing the discrepancy?

 * Hi [@mediblereview](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mediblereview/)
 * Thanks for the details.
 * Just a quick question; you mentioned that there was a tag at the bottom stating
   word count was 2,104 words.
 * Our plugin does not have such feature in ai forms. it does not calculate or append
   a word count in AI Forms.
 * So i am assuming that information was coming from Grok itself? If that is the
   case, is it possible that Grok miscalculate the word count?

 * I’m not sure where that word count came from, it has only appeared once. The
   rest of the posts did not have that, but every post was definitely shorter –
   between 650 and 1700 words.
 * I will try another model to see if it’s Grok who suddenly can’t count.
